Visiting Kieffer's house

On Friday, we visited Kieffer's house since it was too hot for horseback riding. The kids all had a great time. Thomas, Isaiah, and James blasted each other (and invisible enemies) with the nerf guns. Jacob and Kieffer made full use of the water buckets and basement swings. Spencer loved the trampoline and jungle gym (and also Kieffer's bed!) Eric was a master at air hockey. Thanks Kieffer for inviting us to your house!

Paths to Independence

I am Clair Bartley, director of Paths to Independence summer program and co-founder of the non-profit Paths to Independence, Inc. I have taught special needs students for 22 years and decided last November to work with my friend, Jean Jensen, to open a program to assist families who are affected by autism. Children with autism were the inspiration for my entire career, and I can't think of anything I'd rather do.
